Tongues are truly from God. Prior to my adult baptism I could not speak in tongues, but when I emerged from the water the Lord had given me a new language. I praise Him for that. It says in the Bible. “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness; but unto us who are saved, it is the power of God. 1Corinthians 1 vs 18.

I am far from ignorant for God has proven to me that he is real. At the end of the day you DONTspeak in tongues so you DONT know what is going on in our mind, body and soul when it happens. You do not need the brain which is FLESH to communicate with God for he is SPIRITUAL! Tongues isnt a secret becasue we are all able to speak it AND interpret, ONLY if we believe so.
Surely ignorant people would be the ones calling people names in anger because they are frustrated about not understanding

Why would anybody …
Why would anybody expect the brain’s language center to activate when someone speaks in tongues? They are not speaking an actual language, and their brain does not have to work as hard to make gibberish. That is why it does not register.

And Paul said I thank God I speak in tongues more than ye all, and Paul said that prayer with tongues is between you and God and edifies your soul, but not others too much. So there is bviously a difference between praying in tongues and giving a tongue to the church. but with tongues you’ll know you have the Holy Ghost, as we read in the book of acts because everywhere it says someone got the holy ghost it says they spoke in tongues. mesage me if u need me to prove it b/c I can.
