Would being able to speak multiple languages give you a leg up over the competition in various ways?

Hey, I know how to speak, read and write in English, and speak Hindi (official language of India), and Gujarati (State Language of Gujarat in India). . also some Spanish as i’ve been learning it in High School. I’m a senior in high school going off to college Fall 2010. I will major in Industrial Engineering and probably minor in Economics or something. Would being able to speak multiple languages give you a leg up over the competition in various ways?

ya no doubt in it, some one can easily grip on multiple languages and easily speak,

    Yes Kumar, it’s very beneficial. Since India is an emerging market, your skills will be useful and you will have a leg up.
