I need help learning french to help my son in french immersion?

Does anyone know of any free online courses to learn french, my son is in Grade 1 french immersion and we’d like to be able to help him out.
Most french immersion schools have a parents group that will help uni lingual parents to learn enough french to help through the first 3 years of FI. Inquire at your sons school. Get yourself a french\english dictionary and a Besherelle. Take a night course offered at a local college or community. And don’t worry, my class was one of the first full french immersed classes to graduate in Canada and my parents only spoke russian and english and I got through it fine.
