How much in population, Koreans are learning English Language in the Philippine Schools?

I was totally surprised when I went back last year! There are so many Korean students who are studying English Language in the Philippine Schools. I’d even befriended a few 
! I ‘d seen them in the Cities, and in the provinces as well.
Koreans crave to study English. I teach English to a lot of them here in the US. I am not surprised that there are so many there.

Ms. Ganda, it’s hard to say exactly how many Koreans are studying in the Phils. now. As far as I know. statistics are kept in aggregates…as in "Other Asians." Anyway, it’s nice to know that foreigners are back studying in the Phils…maybe because they know they can get good quality education at a cheaper price over there. There was a time (50s-70s) when our schools were so popular among the rich & the privileged of Asia and then they have stopped coming…Japan (or the US) then became their favorite destination. It sure would be great if we can again become the educational center in Asia.

I don’t think there is an exact count anywhere. But I can tell you here in Iloilo there a quite a few schools specilising in teaching english to Koreans and there are a few Korean resturants/markets here.

Hi Ganda. I have Korean friends and they’re learning english here too. the girls are really pretty and some of the guys are good looking. isn’t it good that they’re trying to learn english? maybe it’s cheaper in your country to study. what do you think?
